Inline Valves
Description
Strahman’s In-Line Disc and Piston Valves are an alternative to failing ball, plug or gate valves. With a variety of positive sealing systems like M Seal, M Ring Seal and M Control, these valves offer superior in-line tightness. When opening, the piston or disc retracts completely into the valve body. This, along with our maximized port sizes, helps our designs provide unrestricted full flow and maximum flow capacity.
The valves are available with a wide variety of options such as metallurgy, sealing systems to atmosphere and actuators. Other available features are full jacketing and a vacuum package. Strahman In-Line Disc and Piston Valves are bi-directional.
Typical applications for in-line disc valves include block valves for slurry type media, especially in combination with low pressures, temperatures and/or vacuum.
Typical applications for in-line piston valves include use as a dead space free block valve for high viscosity products or abrasive slurries, especially in combination with high pressures and high temperatures.
Strahman serves a wide variety of industries and process applications, and we understand there are needs for custom designs to fit in custom applications. If you don’t see your process or application, chat with us, or click Contact Us, and we would be happy to work with you on a custom design to meet your specific requirements. Please be advised that INLINE DISC AND PISTON VALVES are engineered to spec, and therefore NOT kept in inventory. All sales inquiries must be handled through our sales team at [email protected].
