Problem
A recent audit from FM global recommended that a fire safety shut-off valve be installed on their 2” fuel line before it exits the pump room.
Solution
After a web search, BI-TORQ was determined to the best fit for this application. The subsequent investigation allowed for a full model number to be derived using our online Product Configurator. BI-TORQ was then contacted for a quotation. The order was placed through their US location a few days later.
The Chief Engineer followed up with installation questions as it was determined the best place to install the unit was vertically 10 feet up. He was assured that a vertical installation for the product was perfectly fine and that once installed the units didn’t need regular maintenance. This was beneficial due to the installation height.
