Strahman Valves was founded in 1921 by brothers Theodore and Herman Strahman, who shared a vision to deliver superior valve solutions for demanding industrial applications. Starting as a distributor of European valve products, they quickly transitioned to designing and manufacturing their own line of valves—setting new standards for quality, reliability, and innovation.

From pioneering the first free-flowing, non-clogging piston tank bottom and drain valve for the U.S. dairy industry to introducing the industry’s first steam-and-cold-water safety mixing unit, the Strahman brothers established a legacy of engineering excellence that continues today. Their commitment to innovation and customer-focused solutions laid the foundation for Strahman’s reputation as a trusted leader in industrial washdown equipment and process valves for over a century.
