Our Contoured and Non-Contoured Half Coupling Connectors make quick sample valve installations possible by sliding into a hole drilled in a pipeline. A socket weld is used to attach it to the pipe, while the other end is threaded to receive the sample valve. A Contoured Half Coupling matches the inside of the pipe for unobstructed flow and is normally used for smaller pipe sizes up to 6″. Non-Contoured Half Couplings are more commonly used for pipes over 6″. Made from 316 SS.
