BI-TORQ wafer-style butterfly valves are designed for reliable flow control, featuring a 90-degree turn from fully open to fully closed. Similar to the lug style, the disc’s wing-like shape and movement resemble the motion of a butterfly, allowing better flow control of liquid. Explore our variety of wafer butterfly valves below.

Reliable, quarter-turn flow control.
Wafer Butterfly Valve Key Features
- ISO mounting pad is a true ISO pad that allows for direct mounting of gears, pneumatic and electric actuators, and a 10-position manual handle.
- Stem bushing reduces torque and isolates the stem from the valve body.
- Shaft Seal is an EPDM O-ring that creates a bubble-tight design while limiting contact areas between the body and shaft.
- A standard 316 stainless steel disc is included on all BY and MY series models; aluminum bronze and cast iron discs are also available upon request.
- Cast iron body is epoxy-coated for a durable, attractive finish. A fully encapsulated body ensures the valve body never comes into contact with the fluid.
- The square shaft allows mounting to ISO-standard pneumatic and electric actuators as well as gear operators.
- The standard 316 stainless steel shaft never contacts the media, and the one-piece design ensures positive disc positioning.
- Available in EPDM, BUNA-N, Viton®, and PTFE, the seat face guarantees a perfect seal with flanges without additional joints or gaskets.
