Strahman Group Introduces Central Water Line Washdown Stations for Complete Point-of-Use Cleaning

New configurable drop-down line kits simplify washdown access across food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and industrial facilities

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - October 1, 2026 — Strahman Group, a leading manufacturer of industrial washdown equipment and process valve solutions, today announced the introduction of its Central Water Line Washdown Stations, a new family of complete point-of-use washdown kits for facilities with hot or cold water distributed from a central supply line.

Designed to make it easier to establish dependable washdown access where routine cleaning takes place, the new product line combines a Strahman single-water hose station, industrial washdown hose, Hydro-Pro 150® spray nozzle, and Swivel Pro adapter in one defined package.

The Central Water Line Washdown Stations are well suited to processing, production, and maintenance environments where cleaning requirements span multiple areas of a facility. Applications include food, beverage, and dairy processing; pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical facilities; industrial manufacturing; and plant maintenance operations.

“Cleaning rarely happens in just one location, particularly in processing and manufacturing environments,” said Paul Swyter, Product Manager. “The Central Water Line Washdown Stations give customers a simpler way to establish complete washdown points where they are needed. Instead of starting with individual components, customers can start with the application and configure the complete station around their facility requirements.”

Complete Washdown at the Point of Use

Installed at designated locations along an existing hot or cold water distribution line, Central Water Line Washdown Stations provide operators with convenient access to the equipment needed for routine washdown.

Each kit includes:

  • A Strahman M-120, M-756 or M-156N single-water hose station
  • An industrial washdown hose
  • A Hydro-Pro 150® industrial spray nozzle
  • A Swivel Pro adapter

Customers begin by selecting the station construction and valve style appropriate for the application. The M-120 provides stainless steel construction with ball-valve operation, the M-756 combines stainless steel construction with globe-valve operation, and the M-156N provides a bronze option with globe-valve operation.

Each station platform is available for hot- or cold-water service. Customers can also select black, white or yellow hose configurations and hose lengths of 25, 50, 75 or 100 feet to match the location, required reach and facility preferences.

Supporting Sanitation, Production and Maintenance Applications

For food, beverage and dairy processors, accessible washdown equipment plays an important role in cleaning production areas, equipment, floors, drains and other areas where routine sanitation takes place. Central Water Line Washdown Stations allow facilities with an available central water supply to establish dedicated washdown locations closer to those cleaning applications.

In pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical facilities, the product line can support appropriate production, equipment and facility-cleaning applications where defined point-of-use washdown access is required.

Industrial manufacturers and maintenance teams can use the stations to establish or standardize washdown locations for equipment cleaning, production-area cleanup, floor cleaning and other routine plant-maintenance needs.

The complete-kit approach also simplifies product selection for plant engineers, facility managers, sanitation teams, maintenance professionals, MRO buyers and distributors by organizing the primary washdown components into configurable assemblies.

Designed for Single-Water Applications

Central Water Line Washdown Stations connect to a single hot or cold water supply. They are distinct from Strahman steam-and-cold-water and hot-and-cold-water mixing stations.

Customers select the station platform, water service, hose color and hose length based on the requirements of the washdown point. Temperature, pressure, connection, installation and facility requirements should be confirmed before ordering.

“Whether a facility is adding a new washdown location, replacing existing equipment or working to standardize washdown points across a plant, the goal is the same: put dependable cleaning equipment where operators need it,” added Paul Swyter. “This product line gives customers a straightforward way to do that.”
